Zombie Wedding Cake Topper

Back in August I posted pictures of a Zombie Wedding Cake Topper I was making in conjunction with Martin Whitmore http://philscustomsculpts.blogspot.com/2010/08/topper-sculpting-is-finished.html
Well Martin has sent pictures of the painted Topper, which I was dying to see. The attention to detail and colour blending is incredible and Martin really brought these two to life..........well as much as you can bring a pair of Zombies to life. I'm particularly impressed with the Tattoo and the blood spatters, great work.

Scott's Bust WIP

Scott won the opportunity to have a bust sculpted of himself as a Zombie. This is the work in progress. I still have to highlight the T Shirt to differentiate it from the stand and lighten the hair, as well as generally tidying up the eyes etc.

My work here is done.

The last of the Christmas commissions are in the bag and will be heading out tomorrow. Whew, time for a short break, then back to the clay prodding. I also have plans for a Zombieland Tallahassee bust, because he is cool and you can't buy one.

It's got ears and a lick of paint.

Back in July I posted some pics of a green man with Bunny Ears http://philscustomsculpts.blogspot.com./2010/07/its-got-ears.html . It now gives me great pleasure to present the finished piece.
It's only 34mm tall and made for my friend Martin Whitmore. It's made from a two part putty known as "greenstuff". Martin painted the sculpt and It has really made my day to see  how it turned out.
Here is a picture of Martin out on the town.
